Coach Kalugyer is a graduate of Richmond High School, IN. ('81), Purdue University ('86), where he received his degree in Physical Education, United States History and World History, and Marygrove College ('04), where he received his masters in education. While at Purdue he was a member of the football team. Coach Kalugyer began his coaching career in 1985 as a defensive line coach for McCutheon High School in Lafayette IN. In 1986 he became the Head football coach at Edinburgh High School for 5 seasons ('86-90). He then returned to Purdue University for one season ('91) to serve as the graduate assistant for the Boilermakers. Coach Kalugyer then joined the Colerain football staff for one season and the Milford coaching staff for 2 seasons. In 1995 he became the head football coach at Springboro High School. While at Springboro the 1999 season finished 8-2 and went to the state playoffs for the first and only time in school history. In 2002 Coach Kalugyer joined the Big Blue staff as the defensive coordinator, as well as coaching the inside linebackers. Coach Kalugyer served as the acting head coach and defensive coordinator. The 2004 season will be Coach Kalugyer first season as the Head Coach for the Big Blue. Coach Kalugyer and his wife, Kirsten, reside in Hamilton with their three sons, Austin, Jacob and new born Ethan.
Coach Crouch is a graduate of New Miami High School ('87) and Miami University ('00), where he received a BS in Physical Education. Coach Crouch is the physical education teacher at Madison Elementary, since 2000. Coach Crouch just completed his 16th year of coaching high school football, the last 11 years at Hamilton High. Prior to that he was an assistant at New Miami (OL/DL) and Talawanda (DL/WR). Coach Crouch will be making the switch from DL to OLB this season and will assume the role of defensive coordinator. Coach Crouch has also served as a basketball coach at New Miami High School (Freshman & JV). Coach Crouch and his wife, Amy, reside in Hamilton with their son, Anthony.
Coach Dole is a graduate of Hamilton High School ('94) and Morehead State University ('98), graduating with a BA in Criminal Justice. After graduation he worked at juvenile court as a probation officer for two years, before going back to receive is alternative licensure in special education, at Wright State. He currently works as a special Education teacher at Hamilton High. Coach Dole will be entering his 5th year as offensive line coach for Big Blue. Coach Dole also serves as an assistant coach on the Track and Field team, working with the throwers. Coach Dole has also coached football at the 7th grade and freshman level, also coached the junior high track and field team. Coach Dole resides in Hamilton.
